Chris asks…
What hotels would be a good choice that would be best to stay at in anaheim?
I am planning a trip to disney land and would like to know which hotels would be best to stay at that are close to disneyland and universal studios or in the middle of both of them in distance. Any other suggestions would help also.

Actually, that previous link isn’t half bad if you want an overview of hotels around the resort.
I always recommend the Howard Johnson (HoJo) and the Candy Cane Inn. While some hotels are closer, these two are very close to the front entrance, so you can walk back to the hotel for a swim or a nap in the afternoon. They are a step above the other hotels in the immediate area in terms of rooms, service, pool, and value. The HoJo recently added a themed pool, the only one outside the Disneyland Resort property. If these are booked, the BW Park Place Inn is probably the closest (adjacent to the crosswalk that goes to Disneyland), and is also pretty good. If you’re looking for a low-budget motel, it looks as if the Alpine Inn has cleaned itself up a bit, so I’ll give it a tentative recommendation for the cash-strapped traveler.

As for a “hotel in the middle”, that’s not really a good idea. The advantage of staying close to Disneyland is that you can walk to Disneyland and the Disneyland Resort. Universal is about 36 miles from Disneyland, and the area around the middle is really not good at all. It is mostly industrial and high-crime areas. Stick with either staying around Disneyland, or staying close to Universal.

David asks…
What hotels near Yankee Stadium would you recommend for a low-moderate budget?
Planning a trip to Yankee Stadium next year that I am trying to get a jump start on planning for. I just want to know what hotels in the area others would recommend. I dont want to spend too much, but im not strapped for cash.
