How come my hotmail account is being used by spammers to send out emails?
I am surprised how my hotmail ID is being used as a sender, and is sending out spam, looking as though i’d have sent it. I am frustrated and scared about what my contacts would be thinking!!!
How can i get rid of this problem?

If I were you I would make enquiries about deleting my accoung or changing the passwork though I think that won’t make a difference.
If you do choose to delete your account, make sure you get a copy of your contacts somewhere though I think it automatically makes a complimation of your contacts.

How to transfer hundreds of old hotmail messages to a new account?
Dear IT gurus
I have a hotmail account long time ago.
1. I want to create a new email account either yahoo or gmail. Is there a safe way with a few clicks to move hundreds of old hotmail messages most of them with attachments to the new account, along with 4 folders?
2. Am I safe with live one care?

1. I would use a local e mail client (as opposed to reading your mail at a Webmail site), such as Windows Live Mail. You must be a paid Yahoo Mail Plus customer to POP3 you e mail to your own machine, but Hotmail and GMail both allow POP3 for free.

2. Windows Live One Care is now longer being made by Microsoft and will soon, if it already is not, no longer be supported by Microsoft.
I suggest that you switch to its replacement, Microsoft Security Essentials, ASAP!

Microsoft anti-virus products have been historically pretty mediocre in detecting and removing malware. But MSE looks like it *might* be a winner. The jury is still out.

Hotmail help. How do I stop sent emails being stamped at the bottom with hotmail ad lines?
I am using the really cool new feature of accessing my works pop3 email using windows live mail. But when I send from my pop3 account . Windows live keeps stamping all my business emails with:
